You asked, we listened. After listening to your feedback about discovering new features, we decided to regularly publish information about new releases into one post. Here at WurkNow, new releases happen every 3 to 4 weeks and over all we’ve found that users get more benefit from releases when they are prepared for them. Here are some of the new features you might want to read about from our latest product release:

Employee Mobile App

1. Active Assignments
We’ve made the WurkNow Employee App more powerful than ever by giving workers access to all the information they need prior to starting an assignment – all in one app. With just a click of a button, workers are able to see general assignment information, work hours, specific instructions from the client, and even driving instructions to the worksite.

2. Mobile Clock Button

Another powerful tool in WurkNow is our mobile time clock which allows employees to clock in/out and track their hours using their mobile devices. After the latest release, we’ve made it easier for workers to navigate to the mobile time clock with a mobile clock button that is always visible no matter where they are in the app.

3. Employee Clock In/Out

WurkNow’s Supervisor App is an invaluable tool, for supervisors and onsite managers to keep track of employee activity anytime and anywhere. Whether it’s monitoring daily job schedules or clocking in/out for employees, it can be done with simply a few clicks.

4. New Feature: Search Bar

The latest feature update for the Supervisor App aims to lessen the amount of time it takes to search for a specific employee. The new addition of a search bar allows users to quickly find the employees they are looking for.

5. New reports for report scheduler

The aim of WurkNow’s report scheduler is to reduce the time and manual work involved in generating reports. Once a chosen report is scheduled, the platform automatically runs the report and sends them in an email notification as an attachment. As of last release, Overtime Summary and Meal Alert data are some of the newly added reports that can be scheduled.


7. Order Landing Page
During the last release, we’ve added a hyperlink function to the data that is related to another record. For example, when a user clicks on a client’s name, it opens up the client information page. These hyperlinks serve as a shortcut, eliminating unnecessary steps.

8. Assignment Page Enhancements
Over the last few months, we’ve been busy building enhancements to help everyone explore data. Recently, we’ve added column controls and export to the Staffing Module’s Assignment Page, making it easier for users to have access to the data they need.
